Welcome to Garneau After School Centre
Here are a few examples of what you can expect to find in each one of our rooms.
Grades 1 & 2 Room
Ages 5 - 8
Our Grade 1 & 2 room provides lots of room for the children to explore their interests, including a loft space and a stage. In this room we help kids find their feet in a more complex school life as well as foster independence and social skills.
Grades 3 & 4 Room
Ages 8 - 10
In our Grade 3 & 4 room the children are encouraged to further develop their skills and pursue their interest by providing more complex materials and larger scale projects. In this room we help the kids navigate more complex social systems and ideas of responsibility and cooperation
Grades 5 & 6 Room
Ages 10 - 12
Our Grade 5 & 6 room is a place where the children can become leaders and take on mentorship roles in our community. These children will often help with program planning, event planning and more.
