Garneau After School Centre

Good morning everyone! As we approach the end of the school year we will have 5 full programming days June 24-30 before our summer programming kicks off. During those days we will be having a hot dog roast, playing foxes and hounds, enjoying the warm weather with some water games, slip and slide and so much more! Attached below are the in depth plans for each day. Heads up we will be closed Wednesday, July 1st for Canada day.

Next week GASC will be open all day for 3 PD Days. On Wednesday we will be heading down to Kinsmen and enjoying some fresh air at the park. Thursday we will be baking bread in a bag as well as participating in some oil pastel landscape portraits. Friday we will be having a movie day at the center. Good Afternoon, This is a reminder that GASC will be closed on Monday May 18th, 2026 for Victoria Day. We will resume regular hours on Tuesday May 19th, 2026. Have a great long weekend!

This years Spring Break was a blast! This week we did some rollerblading in the gym, got to show off our best dance moves at Groovebox dance studio, competed in some minute to win it games and ended with our annual spring fling dance! Scroll down to check out all the fun we had this past week!

Hello everyone! Teachers convention is coming up next Thursday February 26th and Friday February 27th, and we will be providing full day care for both those days. Thursday we will be at the center playing golden stick, and Friday we will be going to Kinsmen Park for some sledding, and park play. Attached below are our full-day plans. Last Wednesday was our annual Cardboard Cup! The kids did an outstanding job creating sleds out of cardboard for the big race. We saw a variety of designs this year, scroll down to see al the sleds! Congrats to the all of the kids for another awesome cardboard cup. As a reminder GASC will be closed Monday February 16th for Family Day.
