Hello everyone! Teachers convention is coming up next Thursday February 26th and Friday February 27th, and we will be providing full day care for both those days. Thursday we will be at the center playing golden stick, and Friday we will be going to Kinsmen Park for some sledding, and park play. Attached below are our full-day plans. Last Wednesday was our annual Cardboard Cup! The kids did an outstanding job creating sleds out of cardboard for the big race. We saw a variety of designs this year, scroll down to see al the sleds! Congrats to the all of the kids for another awesome cardboard cup. As a reminder GASC will be closed Monday February 16th for Family Day. Good afternoon GASC families, attached below is our snack schedule for the month of January. Heads up that January 28th will be a PD day, full day plans will be posted in the new year. As a reminder December 19th is our final day open before winter break, we will be back operating on January 5th. Have a wonderful Christmas break and happy new year!

This holiday season GASC has set up a donation bin for the food bank. It is decorated in wrapping paper and is located just outside the G12 door. The food bank donation guidelines are included at the bottom of this post, the same info can be found at our donation bin. We will be accepting donations until the 15th of December.

Last Friday we went on a field trip to Chickakoo Lake. We had a hot dog roast, created forts, played in the playground, and explored nature. Scroll through to see pictures from this fun day!

Good Afternoon, From November 12-14th we will be providing full day care. Both the 12th and 13th we will be at the center participating in larger art projects, group games, and baking. On the 14th we will be leaving the center and taking the bus to Chickakoo Lake, where we will be having a hot dog lunch and spending some time in nature. Good Afternoon, we have had a busy last month. Come take a look at what we have been up to! During the strike we took a trip to the river valley to spend some time with nature. The kids built forts, skipped rocks, and explored their surroundings while playing group games. Several children chose to participate in a tinkering tournament!
