Welcome back to school! Attached below is the snack schedule for the month of September!

Summer is almost over, with the 31st being the last day before school. For that day we will be spending time at the center, playing predator vs prey, and working on art projects. You can see the full day plans attached below. Hope to see you all there!

This week, we enjoyed some time at Kinsmen Spray Park, participated in a center wide escape room activity, and hosted our annual fundraiser: GASC Movie Night. Our fundraiser was a true team effort! The children of GASC put in lots of hard work to make the event a success like preparing treats, setting up tables and chairs, taking shifts helping with ticket and concession sales, and so much more. What a way to finish July! We spent our final week painting pottery at Crankpots, bowling, and cooling off at an epic foam party! Scroll down to take a look at all the fun we had!

This past week, we got to see many brilliant acts at our very own talent show, got up close with a variety of fascinating reptiles during a special hands-on visit from Wings & Wishes, and had a hot dog roast for our Kinsmen Camping day. We then wrapped up the week with our Medieval Ren Faire themed Friday. Scroll down to see our adventures in action!

We've been making the most of the start of summer with exciting field trips, fun-filled centre theme days, and our GASC Guild Mondays! So far, we've explored Hawrelak Park, watched amazing street performers, visited the Ukrainian Village, enjoyed back-to-back bike days, and so much more! GASC will be closed next Wednesday July 1st 2026 for Canada Day. We will reopen July 2nd.

Summer is fast approaching and we are excited to showcase our summer calendar. You can find it attached below, please give it a look to see our fun summer plans!

Good morning everyone! As we approach the end of the school year we will have 5 full programming days June 24-30 before our summer programming kicks off. During those days we will be having a hot dog roast, playing foxes and hounds, enjoying the warm weather with some water games, slip and slide and so much more! Attached below are the in depth plans for each day. Heads up we will be closed Wednesday, July 1st for Canada day.

Next week GASC will be open all day for 3 PD Days. On Wednesday we will be heading down to Kinsmen and enjoying some fresh air at the park. Thursday we will be baking bread in a bag as well as participating in some oil pastel landscape portraits. Friday we will be having a movie day at the center. This years Spring Break was a blast! This week we did some rollerblading in the gym, got to show off our best dance moves at Groovebox dance studio, competed in some minute to win it games and ended with our annual spring fling dance! Scroll down to check out all the fun we had this past week!
