Soapstone Carving

During teachers convention the children were offered a soapstone carving experience. They chose between pre cut pieces of stone to carve, or a rough cut piece of stone to turn into their own creation. Soapstone carving takes a lot of time, patience and persistence, and the children worked hard to finish their creations!
